NY8A051G is an 8-bit microcontroller with EPROM as the memory, designed specifically for applications in multi IO products such as remote controls, fan/light control, or amusement equipment peripherals. Adopting CMOS process while providing customers with significant advantages such as low cost and high performance. The NY8A051G core is built on the RISC reduced instruction set architecture, making it easy to edit and control, with a total of 55 instructions. Except for a few instructions that require 2 timing sequences, most instructions can be completed in 1 timing sequence, allowing users to easily control different applications through programming. Therefore, it is very suitable for various complex applications with low to medium memory capacity.
In terms of I/O resources, NY8A051G has 6 flexible bidirectional I/O pins, each with a separate register to control as an input or output pin. And each I/O pin has additional program control functions such as pull-up or pull-down resistors or open drain outputs. In addition, for infrared remote control products, NY8A051G has a built-in infrared carrier emission port with selectable frequencies.
NY8A051G has two sets of timers, which can be used as general timing applications with system frequency or triggered by external signals to count. In addition, NY8A051G provides a set of 8-bit resolution PWM outputs or buzzer outputs, which can be used to drive motors LED、 Or buzzers, etc.

Six I/O pins (GPIO) and PB [5:0] that can independently control the input and output directions.
PB [3:0] can choose to use built-in pull-up and pull-down resistors for input.
There are three configuration options for input (TTL/CMOS/Without Schmitt).
PB [3] has a built-in pull-up resistor of 85K.
PB [5:0] can choose between pull-up resistor or open drain output.
PB0/PB1/PB2 pin output can choose six stages of push current and fill current (current 20mA~220mA @ 5V, voltage difference 1V)
PB3/PB4/PB5 pin outputs can choose between Small Sink Current or Normal Sink Current.
PB4/PB5 pin output can choose between Small Drive Current or Normal Drive Current.
