Product Description
| The ADS1110 is a precision, continuously self-calibrating analog-to-digital converter with differential inputs and up to 16-bit resolution. It comes in a small SOT23-6 package and features an on-chip 2.048V reference voltage, providing a 2.048V input differential voltage range. The ADS1110 uses an I²C-compatible serial interface and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply. The ADS1110 can perform conversions at 15, 30, 60, or 240 samples per second. The on-chip programmable gain amplifier (PGA) provides up to 8x gain, enabling high-resolution measurement of small signals. In single-cycle conversion mode, the ADS1110 automatically powers down after a single conversion, significantly reducing current consumption during idle periods. The ADS1110 is designed for applications requiring high-resolution measurements where space and power consumption are primary considerations. Typical applications include portable instruments, industrial process control, and small transmitters. |
