Product Description
| MAX31855 Description: 1. Thermocouples are very sensitive, so a good amplifier with a cold-compensated reference is required. 2. This connector does everything for you and can easily interface with any microcontroller, even one without analog inputs. 3. This breakout board includes the chip itself, a 3.3V regulator with a 10uF bypass capacitor, and level-shifting circuitry, all assembled and tested. It also comes with a 2-pin terminal block (for connecting to thermocouples). 4. Comes with pin headers (plugs into any breadboard or perfboard). Description 1. Temperature measurement range: -200°C to 1350°C 2. SPI interface, high-speed transmission 3. Input voltage: 3-5V DC 4. Direct digital temperature output, no amplifier or ADC required 5. 14-bit resolution, 0.25°C temperature accuracy Notes 1. Works with any K-type thermocouple. 2K-type thermocouples have an accuracy of approximately ±2°C to ±6°C. 4. Internal temperature reading 5. Compatible with 3V to 5V power supplies and logic levels! 6. 3 digital I/O pins required for SPI data output. |
