The AD9833 is a low power, programmable waveform generator capable of generating sine, triangle and square wave outputs. Generation is required in various types of waveform detection, implementation and time domain reflectometry (TDR) applications. The output frequency and phase are both software programmable and can be easily adjusted. No external components are necessary. The frequency register is 28 bits wide: with a clock frequency of 25 MHz, a resolution of 0.1Hz can be achieved; with a clock frequency of 1 MHz for the AD9833, a resolution of 0.004Hz can be tunedThe AD9833 has a standard serial interface that allows the device to be directly connected to different microprocessors. The device uses an external serial clock to write data or information to the control deviceThe AD9833WBRMZ-REEL model is available to meet the quality and reliability needs of automotive applications through control.
