BTS3035EJ is a 35 mΩ single-channel intelligent low-end power switch in a PG-TDSO8-31 package with embedded protection. The power transistor is composed of an N-channel vertical power MOSFET. The device is monolithically integrated. BTS3035EJ is automotive-grade certified and optimized for 12 V automotive applications. The device is capable of switching a wide range of resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, limited by maximum clamping energy and maximum current capability. The BTS3035EJ IN pin (reference source pin, i.e., ground) is ESD protected. Over-temperature protection prevents the device from overheating due to overload and/or poor thermal dissipation conditions. The temperature sensor in the power MOSFET provides temperature information. BTS3035EJ has an automatic restart thermal shutdown function. If the measurement temperature drops below the thermal hysteresis temperature and the input is still high, the device will turn on again. In the event of load dump or inductive shutdown, overvoltage protection can be activated. If the drain voltage rises above V_OUT (CLAMP), the power MOSFET will limit it.
