Product Introduction
This is an Arduino compatible TDS sensor used to measure the TDS value of water. The TDS value can reflect the cleanliness of water and can be applied to water quality detection in areas such as domestic water and hydroponics.
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), Chinese name: Total Dissolved Solids, also known as Total Dissolved Solids, indicates how many milligrams of dissolved solids are dissolved in 1 liter of water. Generally speaking, the higher the TDS value, the more dissolved substances there are in the water, and the less clean the water is. Therefore, the size of TDS value can be used as one of the criteria to reflect the cleanliness of water.
Product Descriptions
This product can be used with both microcontroller and STM32, and outputs analog voltage of 0-2.3V. The following formula represents the relationship between TDS and voltage output. Among them, KValue is the calibration coefficient (standard value/measured value), which is about 1.8 from our manufacturer.
tdsValue=(133.42*compensationVolatge*compensationVolatge*compensationVolatge - 255.86*compensationVolatge*compensationVolatge + 857.39*compensationVolatge)*0.5*kValue
The commonly used TDS detection equipment is TDS pen. Although it is inexpensive and easy to use, it cannot transmit data to the control system for long-term online monitoring and water quality analysis. Using specialized instruments, although they can transmit data and have high accuracy, the price is very expensive. For this purpose, we have specifically launched this Arduino compatible TDS sensor, which can be connected to the Arduino controller to measure the TDS value of water.
Schematic diagram of Arduino TDS sensor connection
This product is designed specifically for Arduino, plug and play, and easy to use. The wide voltage supply of 3.3-5.5V and analog signal output of 0-2.3V make this product compatible with 5V and 3.3V control systems, making it very convenient to connect to existing control systems for use. The excitation source used for measurement adopts AC signal, which can effectively prevent probe polarization, prolong probe life, and increase output signal stability. The TDS probe is a waterproof probe that can be immersed in water for long-term measurement.
This product can be used for water quality testing in areas such as domestic water and hydroponics. With this sensor, it is easy to install a DIY TDS detector, which can easily detect the cleanliness of water and ensure the quality of your water.
Be careful:
TDS probes cannot be used in water above 55 ℃.
The TDS probe should not be placed too close to the edge of the container, otherwise it will affect the reading.
The TDS probe head and wire are waterproof and can be immersed in water, but the connection interface and signal adapter board are not waterproof. Please use them carefully.
