Product Descriptions
ESP32-WROOM-32E and ESP32-WROOM-32UE are two general-purpose Wi Fi+BT+BLE MCU modules that are powerful and versatile, suitable for low-power sensor networks and demanding tasks such as speech encoding, audio streaming, and MP3 decoding.
ESP32-WROOM-32E adopts PCB board antenna, and ESP32-WROOM-32UE adopts IPEX antenna. Both modules are equipped with 4MBSPlfash. The information provided in this document applies to these two modules.
The ESP32-WROOM-32E and ESP32-WROOM-32UE use ESP32-DOWD-V3 * from the ESP32 series. The ESP32-DOWD.V3 chip has the characteristics of scalability and adaptability. Two CPU cores can be controlled separately. The adjustment range of CPU clock frequency is from 80 MHz to 240 MHz. Users can turn off the power of the CPU and use low-power coprocessors to monitor the status changes of peripherals or whether certain analog quantities exceed the threshold. ESP32 also integrates a variety of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, SD card interfaces, Ethernet interfaces, high-speed SP1, UART, I2S, and I2C.
The module integrates traditional Bluetooth, low-power Bluetooth and W-F, and has a wide range of applications: Wi Fi supports a wide range of communication connections, and also supports direct connection to the Internet through a router; Bluetooth allows users to connect their phones or broadcast BLE Beacons for signal detection. The sleep current of ESP32 chip is less than 5 μ A, making it suitable for battery powered wearable electronic devices. The module supports a data transmission rate of up to 150 Mbps and an antenna output power of 20 dBm, enabling wireless communication within the maximum range. Therefore, this module has industry-leading technical specifications and excellent performance in high integration, wireless transmission distance, power consumption, and network connectivity.
The operating system of ESP32 is freeRTOS with LwIP and built-in TLS 1.2 with hardware acceleration. The chip also supports OTA encryption upgrade, making it convenient for users to continue upgrading after product release.
